The 2nd Youth® Derma-Spa treatment is a non medical procedure, which assist with the health and wellness of the human body. Normally the classic body treatment should be performed at a salon, day spa or hydro.

Pure indulgement, utterly enjoyable and relaxing, full of marine and natural goodness, the Derma-Spa experience will leave the body beautifully nourished and invigorating revived … just as nature intended!



A typical spa or hydro should make the following treatments available:

Derma-Spa Treatment Protocol

STEP 1: DERMA-SPA HYDRANCE CLEANSING GEL
  • Use 1 – 2 squirts of Hydrance Cleansing Gel and cleanse the area to be treated for ±60 seconds
  • Massage the Cleansing Gel into light foam to thoroughly remove all impurities without stripping the body’s skin of precious moisture
  • Rinse thoroughly with mittens by using the "hot compress" method
  • Should the client wish, he or she can rinse of in a shower or similar facility


STEP 2: DERMA-SPA PERLE BODY EXFOLIATOR
  • This soft and luxurious body scrub contains Shea Butter and Macadamia Oil
  • The scrub will leave the body’s skin feeling soft, supple and moisturized
  • Apply a thin layer of Perle Body Exfoliator over the area to be treated
  • Use soft circular movements and Exfoliate the area being treated
  • The micro-beads in the Exfoliator will ensure the removal of all excess dead skin cells, leaving the skin to look more radiant and soft
  • Remove the Exfoliator with mitten gloves with the “hot compress” method or alternatively advise client to shower
STEP 3: DRAINING MASK & FIRMING AND TONING MASK
The 2x Derma-Spa body mask, The Draining Mask and the Firming and Toning Mask, should be used alternatively (either the one or the other per treatment session) or as needed. On your younger clients The Firming and Toning Mask can be used to prevent sagging of the skin. Clients over the age of 40 years can alternate the 2 Masks due to the fact that water retention in older skin is more common and sagging of the skin more visible. DERMA-SPA DRAINING MASK
  • Using a large mask brush, apply an even layer of Draining Mask over the areas where treatment is required
  • Wrap the body area that’s being treated with the Derma-Spa Wrap
  • When wrapped, cover with the Heat Activation Foil Blanket – spas can make use of electric or warming blankets on the treatment bed to supply extra heat and activation from beneath
  • Leave the wrapped body for 20 minutes or longer if needed
  • Remove the Heat Activation Foil Blanket and wrap. Carefully remove the mask with mitten gloves or alternatively advise to shower off
DERMA-SPA FIRMING AND TONING MASK
  • Using a large mask brush, apply an even layer of Draining Mask over the areas where treatment is required
  • Wrap the body area that’s being treated with the Derma-Spa Wrap

STEP 4: DERMA-SPA HYDRA-CALMING SPRITZER
  • After the Mask have been effectively removed and washed off, make sure the clients skin is completely dry
  • Spritz the whole treated area with the Hydra-Calming Spritzer
  • Allow the Spritzer to dry or be absorbed by the skin, before commencing with the next step



STEP 5: DERMA-SPA OXY-LIPO SERUM
  • After the entire treated area was calmed-down with the Hydra-Calming Spritzer and completely dry or absorbed by the skin, apply the Derma- Spa Oxy-Lipo Serum lavishly to all soft sagging skin or where firming and toning is needed
  • This is a leave on product. Allow time for complete absorption
  • The Derma-Spa Oxy-Lipo Serum is to be used when treating cellulite, water retention and detoxification. It supplies the skin with rejuvenation and upliftment effect
  • Recommended to be used when Firming and Toning Mask has been part of the treatment session or after body exfoliation has been done
STEP 6: DERMA-SPA OXY-LIPO FLUID
  • After the Derma-Spa Oxy-Lipo Serum was applied to the area and absorbed, massage the Oxy-Lipo Fluid into the skin for 5 minutes or until the skin has completely absorbed the fluid
  • The fluid will moisturize the skin and leave it rejuvenated
  • Recommended to be used when the Draining Mask was used, as the body was stripped from "bad" fluids.
  • This Oxy-Lipo Fluid will effectively replenish the body with good, essential moisture
  • This acts as final step in the Derma-Spa Body Treatment regime
